A major CSR project was coordinated by Ray Castillo of Hays County CSCD on August 27, 2011. According to Ray, "One of our CSR clients is a music promoter in the industry. He elected to do a musical benefit for any of our CSR Agencies. L.U.L.A.C. #4876 accepted my client’s proposal."

The client was able to get 2005 Grammy Award winner “Los Lonely Boys” to perform along with 7 other bands. The client also arranged news coverage (radio, TV, newspaper, etc.). He also contacted San Marcos Mayor Daniel Guerrero who declared 8-27-11 as “Los Lonely Boys Day”.

The following made personal appearances: Mayor Daniel Guerrero, former Mayor Cook of Austin, Tx., Rep. Lloyd Doggett, and San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro. During the day band performances took place on the courthouse lawn. L.U.L.A.C. arranged for vendors, food & soft drinks, a petting zoo, kiddy train rides and pony rides. This alcohol free family event went from 1pm to 5pm. The other bands and Lonely Boys concert went from 7pm to 12am at the Texas Music Center across from the courthouse. 1000 people attended the concert.

It is estimated that L.U.L.A.C. grossed approximately $25,000 to $30,000 for this event. L.U.L.A.C. supports education and will provide college scholarships in addition to other donations for the sick and needy.
